San Antonio Texas

Bio: I suffer from chronic pain and have found that your attitude can play a key part in how bad or good you feel. That is not to down play pain because I suffer some pretty terrible pain, however your mood can make your pain even worse. I also feel that moping and whining can turn people away from you but if you do your best and cheerful as possible those that truly care about you will find it easier to help you. I don't believe anyone should be treated poorly by others but you can help those that want to help you to do so more easily. You also need a sense of humor because laughing can be a great way to take life in stride. Come join me and we can share a laugh, a tear or two, and help each other feel better.

  2. Peace be on to you. Great Blog. My wife and I are staying in a friends home (we are homeless){for now}, the folks we are staying with are our pastor. He is going through the same battle with pain and pills(same opium base) , He’s neck was broken, bad prognosis and botched operation and 15 years later he is walking Got 16 screws and few rods holding his neck, but the mending source is the Holy Spirit! it is not easy, but when we declare our self followers of “Christ” let us also not forget that by His Strips we were healed! As a lung cancer Winner I know pain as well. I was healed trough prayer my wife prayed over me Monday night over the phone , her in California and I in NY, On wed Gulf ball size tumor was gone! As Christians we need to do the I’m possible, and truly trust our God. may the Love of our redeemer drown you in His embrace so you bread Him fully!

    • Thank you! I am sorry that you and your wife are homeless. I know what that feels like because I was homeless four times after moving to Texas and like you I was blessed with friends that kept me for living on the streets until I was able to manage permanent home on my own. I am sorry all those things happened to your pastor and I know neck I have arthritis so bad in my neck my doctor said I have the neck of a 90 year old. It is a miracle from God through your wife’s faith and prayer that healed you praise be to God for your healing. I have no doubt God could heal me, but through my pain I can help others cope with theirs. I take very low dose opioid pain medication so I feel some pain all the time and my doctor uses other methods such as injections to help as well. I will pray for you all that God will move things in your favor and that He will heal whatever needs healing. God bless!

      • Thank you so much for blessed words and great testimony, living with pain is not an easy task, may God continue His comfort and love upon you and yours.

      • Thank you very much and it is not an easy thing to live with pain, but I have dealt with it for so many years my body has become use to the pain and so it isn’t as hard for me as it is for someone that is new to chronic pain and attitude is everything and I work hard so that it will not drag me down. I feel God near me always and it is how I can get from day to day it is with His grace for me! I pray God will see you and your friend through to peace and being in a stable life and home of your own. Homelessness is not pleasant but there is never any shame in it hold your head high knowing you are a son of the most high God!
